The board is broken into four sections with twelve triangles in each section and a bar the runs through the middle separating the board into two halves. Now, the sections and halves have no impact on the game, just look at it as one continual board. And, the large triangles are simply the points you move on around the board; they’re long because you can rest many checkers on a point. And that’s really all you have to be concerned with to start playing.
